For this interactive series, we'll use active games and creative exercises to make learning to read through phonics an enjoyable experience. Students will strengthen their foundational reading skills focusing on letter sounds, word recognition, and phonemic awareness. By incorporating playful learning strategies, students will develop confidence in reading while building essential phonics skills for lifelong literacy. Geared toward first & second grade ages. This workshop is a series for teens in which we will learn the ins and outs of astrophotography and optical astronomy; taking beautiful space images, processing them, colorizing them, and the science behind it all. Led by a former astronomer turned librarian.
